Tasting Room Server - Vina Robles

Vina Robles owns and farms six estate SIP® Certified Sustainable vineyards in five sub-districts in the region.
First class hospitality service is offered by way of unique, memorable experiences with wine, food and music at their core.
The vineyards & winery are owned and managed by two Swiss families who have been farming winegrapes in Paso Robles for more than 20 years.
Known primarily for Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah, the Vina Robles lineup includes small lots of a wide range of varieties and creative blends.
As a member of the Vina Robles team, the Tasting Room Server is a vital role within our Hospitality Center.
We are looking for a positive team player to continue providing excellent service to our customers and be a part of the Vina Robles family.
TASTING ROOM SERVER GENERAL • Work location: 3700 Mill Road, Paso Robles, CA • Part-time, non-exempt position • Availability on weekends and Holidays • Reports to the Tasting Room Manager 1\.
SALES & HOSPITALITY • Greeting all customers withing the first 30 seconds of arriving • Accurately inputting orders and customer information into Wine Direct • Utilizing tock to check in guests and seat them • Assisting guests with wine tasting, education and purchases • Assisting in on and off-premise events • Building, maintaining and expanding positive customer relations • Relaying information on Vina Robles Vineyards and Winery • Selling wine, food, wine clubs, accessories, and merchandise to guests • Providing excellent customer service, in person or over the telephone • Conducting tastings, private wine and food experiences and property tours for both public and trade groups • Preparing the tasting room by following the opening and closing procedures • Stocking Hospitality Center with wine, supplies, glasses, bags, etc.
, preparing gift boxes and merchandise daily • Assisting with pulling, packaging and shipping retail orders as needed • Buffing and cleaning glassware daily • Representing the company in a positive manner and protecting Vina Robles property at all times • Ensure bathrooms are presentable for guests • Performing other duties as needed 2\.
FOOD SERVICE • Setting, clearing, and cleaning tables following Vina Robles high standards of quality • Taking guest orders and sending to the kitchen using POS system • Serving food and following up with guests to ensure an exceptional experience • Assisting guests with their wine selection • Preparing tapas menu items as needed GENERAL REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 1 year customer service position experience required • Experience and knowledge of wine, winemaking, tasting and notes • Must be 21 years of age • Ability to lift 55 pounds How To Apply – Please send resume to: Vina Robles, Inc.
