Job Description:
As a Massage Therapist / Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients' well-being.
Your primary responsibility will be to both serve as a Chiropractic Assistant and provide exceptional massage therapy services to our patients working closely with our team to ensure the very best of wellness care.
Hours are Monday 2-6pm, Wednesday 3-7pm and Friday 1-5pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This key role works in tandem the Chiropractor in preparing the rooms and patients for treatment, evaluating patient progress, and delivering therapeutic treatments.
- Perform high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs.
Therapeutic treatments will focus on myofascial release, but also include gua sha, kinesiotaping, exercise, cupping/gliding, rolling, percussion, passive release, active release, effleurage, ultrasound, TENS, LED, and micro current therapies - Work collaboratively with our chiropractor to develop comprehensive massage therapy treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and other wellness practices
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
- Continuously enhance your skills through professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
We will provide training.
