-Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Payroll Supervisor the Payroll Accountant is responsible for overall coordination of the Community Action Partnership’s company wide payroll services; scheduling, generating and distributing payroll checks, accounting and reporting and providing accounting and budgetary support as it pertains to payroll processing and payroll accounting.
Supports CAPSLO’s mission by ensuring accurate, timely and efficient Payroll Processing and Payroll Accounting, as well as ensuring courteous service delivery to staff and management.
-Required Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in accounting.
Minimum of four years of experience in the field of payroll accounting.
General knowledge of and some experience in accounts payable, receivables, financial statement analysis, bank reconciliations and GAAP.
-Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Supervisory or lead role experience.
-Schedule:
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Onsite with one remote day after introductory period (6 months).
-License & Certifications:
Must have dependable, insured transportation and valid California Driver’s License (mileage to be reimbursed) and acceptable driving record.
A DMV printout and proof of insurance will be required.
