Requirements:
We are actively seeking an accomplished and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Controller to become an integral part of our esteemed ESOP-owned CPA firm, Glenn Burdette.
If you are a seasoned financial professional with a proven track record, this is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our financial operations and strategy.

Responsibilities:
· Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Oversee all financial aspects of the Firm, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and payroll.
· Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
· Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
· Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance against budget.
· Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes.
· Manage compliance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations and tax obligations relevant to CPA firms.
· Manage the administration and communication of the ESOP, ensuring compliance with ESOP regulations and reporting requirements.
· Ensure compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
· Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring the firm's compliance and competitiveness.
· Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, insurance agents, and software vendors.
Qualifications:
· In-person position.
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
· Experience with ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within professional service organizations comprising over 100 employees.
· Income tax compliance experience.
· Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
· Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to organizational growth.
· Ready to take initiative, roll up your sleeves and handle tasks proactively within the role.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Bachelor’s Degree.
Salary Range: $150k - $250k
