Construction Project Accountant

*PROJECT ACCOUNTANT* CCB is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to manage the full cycle of accounts payable.
Applicant must be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.
They must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
*ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES* * Process invoices for timely payment in accordance with contract terms * Ensure proper G/L coding on all invoices * Process monthly bank draws * Monitor and process subcontractor releases * Work with the Contracts Estimator and Administrators to ensure accuracy of contract billing sheets * Review contracts and change orders to ensure proper documentation * Effectively communicate with all subcontractor and vendors *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* * Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Project Accountant * Construction accounting experience preferred * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting not required but preferred * Extremely organized with excellent time management and attention to detail * Team player with strong work ethic * Excellent computer software program skills in Microsoft Office, Sage and Pharaoh Please submit your resume with a cover letter explaining why you think you are a good candidate for this job.
