Full Charge Bookkeeper (Paso Robles)

United Staffing has partnered with a reputable and dynamic CPA firm dedicated to providing high-quality financial services to North San Luis Obispo County in their search for a part-time (full-time will be considered) Full Charge Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities: *Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards *Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, bill payments, and collections.
*Reconcile bank statements and credit card transaction *Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements *Process tax returns and 1099 forms *File occupancy tax filings *Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting principles and stay up to date on relevant changes *Bi-weekly payroll processing including garnishments, vacation, adjusted payroll, and final checks.
*Answer telephones and assist walk-in customers *Assist with cleaning and organization of office Requirements: *Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and online *Proficient in Excel and Word *Minimum of 2 yrs.
full cycle payroll experience *Minimum of 3 yrs.
Bookkeeping experience *College degree in Accounting or related field preferred Pay: $25-$30/hr.
