Job Description
The Accounting Assistant at Synergy Manufacturing is a vital member of the Finance
Department, ensuring timely and accurate entry of high-volume AP and AR transactions.
Sense of humor and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals is a must.
Full-Time Position in our SLO office | Mon-Fri, 7:00am-4:00pm │In Office
Requirements
Understands basic accounting principles.
Business Administration degree or working towards Business Administration
degree preferred.
Accounting Clerk or Accounting Concentration certificate highly desirable.
Ability to use basic office equipment and software (Microsoft Suite/Google Workspace).
Intermediate Excel and Word experience.
Ability to quickly learn new software/systems.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing using English.
Attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion.
Primary Responsibilities

AR/AP functions such as entering and creating invoices and managing aging.
Bank account and general ledger account reconciliation.
Credit card transaction entry, receipt matching, and reconciliation.
Maintaining vendor and customer files.
Corresponding with vendors to gather documents and resolve discrepancies.
Assist Staff Accountant with month end close, and year end prep.
Scanning and uploading documents.
Weekly check runs.
Other administrative and accounting duties as needed, Monday – Friday
Position Type and Pay Range
Full Time, Non-exempt, $20.
00-$25.
00 an hour.
In person position at our San Luis Offices.
