Our upscale condo/hotel near the beach in Oceano has an open position for someone with bookkeeping skills 2-3 nights per week.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is required.
This would resemble some night audit functions but has more robust bookkeeping and analytical responsibilities, and we're looking for that special person who can help us make this new position valuable.
For us, capability trumps experience.
Hours would generally be starting at 3 or 4 PM and working until 8 or 9 PM, at least twice a week.
In addition, the position has some typical hotel functions, such as checking in guests, taking reservations, and other light administrative duties.
Operationally, we resemble an Airbnb whereby most guests arrive and go straight to their rooms, so guest contact is generally minimal.
Must be comfortable working alone.
We are a small hotel with limited staff so having some flexibility to occasionally cover shifts for others would be a great help.
