Marine Science Educator & Summer Camp Counselor

*Job Summary* The person in this position would be working directly with the Director of Programs & Education, aquarium staff and volunteers to learn program content and activities, as well as develop new content for upcoming camps and programs.
This is a great opportunity for students who are considering teaching or science docenting to gain valuable experience working with a wide range of students, teaching science, and learning classroom management and problem solving skills.
Other tasks could include assisting with animal husbandry and aquarium outreach events.
This position pays $18-20 per hour depending on experience and includes 15-20 hours a week time commitment at the aquarium.
This position has the potential to transition into a full time summer camp counselor position, depending on candidate availability and interest.
