We are opening The Clay Studio here in Los Osos for Wild/Native Clay Workshops 2024
What:
The Wild Clay workshop consists of an approx.
three hour class (exploration) in learning some of the basics it takes to
a) Identify
b) Harvest
c) Process
d) Sculpt/Build with 100% native earth
We are literally working with shovels and 5 gallon buckets to harvest this material.
Our studio is currently sculpting with it as an artistic medium, while also experimenting with native earth adobe, cobb applications, waddle and daub, and rammed earth with 100% native, locally hand harvested and processed clay.

This workshop is open to anyone.
How/How Much:
The Wild Clay Workshop is by appointment only.
It's a hands on, private class offering here at the Clay Studio in Los Osos and basically you call in advance and book a day that works for all of us.
Any open day during the months of April and May *We work by donation, the suggested donation is $75*
