*COMPANY HISTORY*
In 1991, Joanne Currie and her husband Ross purchased Splash Café in Pismo Beach, CA.
Over the next 30 years they became well known for winning the 1st place award for their Clam Chowder at the annual Clam Festival.
The cafes now serve more than 40,000 gallons of chowder a year, and they have been featured in several national and international publications and TV shows.
*DUTIES*
* Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Splash Cafés recipes and standards
* Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
* High volume cooking with fryers, grills, ovens and kettles
* Cooking clam chowder
* Delivering the food to the customers when needed
* Stocking and deep cleaning of kitchen
* Perform opening, closing, and side work
* Other duties as assigned
*REQUIREMENTS*
* 1+ years of experience as a line cook preferred but not required
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
