We want to hear from you! JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for facilitating cleanliness objectives and supporting food service operations in the tasting room, during peak hours on Fridays and Saturdays, typically from 2:00pm to close.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Handle ongoing cleaning of the tasting room, to maintain a clean environment for our guests Exercise timeliness and superior hospitality while delivering food orders, clearing tables, and cleaning glasses Prioritizing sanitation and safety standards Prepare tables and seating areas for the arrival of new guests Continuously load and unload dishwasher to ensure inventory of clean glasses Display excellent verbal communication with staff, guests & featured wineries Work directly with winemakers and featured wineries to support their specific operational and cleaning needs Create a memorable experience for guests Be knowledgeable about our wines and wine partners Provide general tourist information Assist with special events as needed Willingness and eagerness to learn and be coached Maintain a professional appearance and attitude Perform other duties as assigned by Manager OTHER GENERAL TASKS Receive and deliver food orders Load and unload dishwasher Buff glasses Dispose of used plates & cutlery Clean and sanitize tables and surfaces Maintain clean floors both indoors and on the patio Support closing cleaning procedures Region is changing how you experience wine.

$15-$16 an hour (depending on experience) Tips Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of up to 40 pounds at varying frequencies Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be 21 years of age High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of two years of prior relevant experience in a managerial role Enthusiasm for wine and interest in expanding expertise Availability to work weekends, special events and holidays Proficiency with company computer systems, software and reports to include: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Competency with POS system and general internet navigation Valid driver’s license Must have or be able to obtain TIPS license Must have or be able to obtain CPR/FA Certificate College degree in retail/business management or hospitality, or equivalent experience strongly preferred Adobe Suite experience Tasting room retail, direct to consumer sales, restaurant or hospitality industry experience Pay: $15 - $16 / hour Job Type: parttime Work location: On-site
