Duties
Performs a variety of tasks having several steps or a sequence of tasks that requires attention to work operations in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures.
Sets up steamtables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items and replenishes as needed.
Serves food by order and proper proportion.
Assembles or toss fresh fruit and green salads in quantity using prepared dressings and portions into standard serving sizes.
Breaks down and cleans tables and areas when meal is finished.
Returns dishes and food to the kitchen area.
Operates, break, break downs and cleans equipment assigned to the area for food preparation.
Cleans kitchen equipment.
Cleans kitchen utensils, dishes.
Separates food waste from dishes and disposes of trash.
May unload and store food from delivery trucks.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position, to include a physical.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
This is a seven-day operation.
Shift will include hours between 0930-2400 but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity.
Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume Ability to understand and follow simple instructions, and be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines.

FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts.
A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.
5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400.
A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
