We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to be a key part of a small collaborative team focused on the advancement of our Measure While Drilling and Logging While Drilling wellbore systems.
Our industry-leading navigation systems provide definitive survey information, enabling safer and more efficient placement of tightly spaced wellbores throughout the world.
Our logging systems provide reliable technologies for assessing formation characteristics to evaluate well bore placement for optimal resource extraction.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities may vary based on the education and experience of the candidate but will generally include:
Designs, develops, and tests electronic systems and subsystems including.
switch mode power supplies
precision analog-to-digital converter sensor interfaces
low power electronic design
microcontroller, DSP, and FPGA system design
prototype firmware for system and board testing
PCB layout
Collaborates at a systems level with a multi-disciplinary team.
Creates clear technical design documentation and implementation specifications.
Conducts, analyzes, and documents lab and field test results.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Passionate problem solver
Electronic design from concept to manufactured hardware.
Hands-on debugging, bring up, and testing of electronic subsystems and systems.
Board design and layout
Knowledge of control systems, servos, PLLs, sensors, communications
Basic C-based firmware development
Experience developing and debugging algorithms in Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++/Java
Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience
1 to 5 years work experience
