ITW Global Tire Repair is seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Intern who will work closely with our Project Managers.
The Intern will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Managers by primarily engaging in research and testing activities.
With a focus on innovation, the incumbent will be responsible for testing, researching and validating existing new products, while also contributing to the ideation process.
This position is located in our San Luis Obispo, CA office.
Job Description
Testing new and innovative products for bicycle and automotive markets
Product validation through documentation and adherence to testing specification
Communication of finished reports to stakeholders
Support in the design and engineering of new products through needs identification
Support in the NPD project documentation
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Communicate technical information and details
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to work with Microsoft Office.
Must be efficient with Excel.
Must have the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects while meeting competing deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
Demonstrate cooperating, positive behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Teamwork, encouragement, and support for all departments are requirements of the position.
Cleanliness and organization are also requirements for the position.
Technical aptitude and 3D design familiarity a plus.

This is a temporary position working approximately 15-20 hours per week in our San Luis Obispo, CA office.
This is NOT a remote position.
Ideal candidates are available ASAP.
Pay Range is $20 to $25/ hour depending on expertise.
