_Petit Soleil is a independently owned boutique hotel in the downtown San Luis Obispo area.
We are looking for a guest service associate to join our team.
This position is all encompassing: front desk, food preparation, serving and bartending.
Potential applicants should be self motivated, outgoing, and love interacting with guests.

Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
* Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
* Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
* Upsell hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
* Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
* Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, kitchen and dining room
* Take guest orders and deliver food and beverages to tables, ensuring satisfaction
* Participate in baking and food preparation
* Serve cocktails, beer and wine
* Maintain knowledge of our current menu offerings
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Food Handler's Certificate
* RBS Certificate
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus (e.
g.
, bilingual or multilingual)
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
