*\*Please note: we are looking to fill a part-time position (under 30 hours per week); currently we are looking for coverage on Fridays and Saturdays (scheduled shifts may be 2pm-8:30pm or 11:30am-8:00pm; schedules may change per the needs of the business).
\** We are seeking a professional and customer-focused part-time B&B Front Desk Concierge to assist with B&B operations.
*WHO WE ARE:* *CASS Winery’s Geneseo Inn is a luxury boutique hotel nestled in the rolling hills of Paso Robles wine country.
Built of industrial shipping crates perched above the vines on CASS Winery's 145 acres of vineyard, the inn has garnered international attention for its architectural beauty and the unique experiences tied to the property.
* *WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:* In this position, you will assist with the day-to-day operations and activities at our boutique bed and breakfast.
You are an expert in providing all guests with outstanding and consistent customer service.
Basic Requirements: - Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills - Great attention to detail - Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software, inclusive of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word - Must be able to efficiently utilize our reservation platform Resnexus (training available) - Valid Driver’s License - California Food Handler’s Card Duties In this role you are responsible for the overall guest service of the B&B by maintaining an organized and efficient Front Desk operation, as follows: - Coordinates Front Desk work with other departments: Housekeeping, Events and Tasting Room.
- Follow safety rules and procedures and takes corrective action where required to improve safety of work area.
- Maintains proper B&B supplies inventory, conducts inventories as assigned and recommends purchase of products.
- Monitor housekeeping performance and communicate with Inn Manager.
- Collect payments.
- Welcome and register guests once they arrive.
- Sell winery and B&B products, tickets, & merchandise.
- Pour wine for and speak knowledgably about wine with our guests.
- Communicate issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
- Regular personal inspection of guest rooms, public areas, laundry room, lobby.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor towards guests and potential guests.
- Convert guests into wine club members.
- Handle complaints and make sure they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with the executive chef, events team, and food service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Experience/Education - Minimum of 1-year experience in the hospitality industry PREFERRED.
- Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills required.
- Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
00 - $18.
00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.
