DISPATCHER - CUSTOMER SERVICE
$22-$27 per hour DOE
M-F full time on site in Atascadero, CA
Responsibilities:
Accountability – claim your actions as your own, follow through, complete work to the fullest;
Build relationships with professional truck drivers and be his/her point of contact while on the road;
Maintain an attitude of safety with the truck drivers;
Plan, route and dispatch truck load drivers via mobile communications and/or telephone;
Confirm drivers are ready and available for next load;
Send Driver run sheets;
Own inbound / outbound mobile communications with drivers;
Make sure status updates are completed for all loads;
Answer high volume of emails and phone calls;
Assist in equipment breakdowns and resolution via referral to correct services;
Communicate effectively with inter departmental staff;
Follow thru with all issues to resolution;
Some data entry;
Must be a great teammate.

Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED equivalent required;
Logistics and/or trucking industry dispatch, preferred;
Easily adaptable to changing circumstances with customers and drivers;
Computer skills with Microsoft Office knowledge.
Compensation:
$22.
00-$27.
00 per hour (DOE), full-time
