*Responsibilities:*
* Design and deliver an authentic, multi-sensory curriculum
* Create an engaging and safe learning environment
* Develop balanced schedules and routines
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the Bright Life teaching staff
* Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
*Mandatory Requirements: (For Teachers)*
* Minimum of 6 ECE/CD units including core classes and currently enrolled in more to complete 12 core ECE/CD units.
* Must have Infant/Toddler Units to be Teacher Qualified if working with infants and toddlers
* Current health screening with TB test and 3 key immunizations (upon hire)
* Live scan fingerprint clearance/background check (upon hire)
* Able to lift 30 pounds multiple times a day
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other closely related fields
* Passionate about working with children
* Ability to build rapport with children & families
* Positive and patient demeanor
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Initiative and aptitude are highly valued
* Warmth, kindness, and empathy
* Able to connect with children in a playful and loving manner;
* Able to design and deliver an authentic and engaging curriculum;
