Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individuals to train adults with developmental disabilities in horticultural skills .
You will set up tasks at the Ranch, a 10.
5 acre property in San Luis Obispo.
Your shifts would be 9 am- noon on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults and help them reach their full potential.
You will be part of a team working to grow plants to sell and providing work opportunities for your adult students.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective educational programs and lesson plans - Provide instruction and support to individuals with various learning needs, including those with autism, deaf education, and special education requirements - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth - Utilize various teaching strategies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles - Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders - Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills development - Adapt curriculum materials to meet the individual needs of students - Foster a love for learning through engaging activities and interactive lessons - Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.
