Preschool Substitute Teacher

*About us* We are a non-profit cooperative preschool that has been serving families in our area for 60 years.
We believe in parent participation and play-based, developmentally appropriate education.
Responsibilities: - Cover class from 8:45 to 12:45 as needed when teacher is sick.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children as laid out by the teacher.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and teacher.
Qualifications: - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is required.
- A minimum of 12 ECE units completed or in progress.
- CPR/First Aid certification - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with parents, colleagues, and children.
