Behavioral Caregiver (Pismo Beach)

Behavioral caregiver needed in Pismo Beach for low-functioning special needs 23 year old boy.
Duties include: Teaching Words and Skills Working on Goals Behavior Therapy (teach appropriate replacement behaviors) Therapy Exercises Interacting and Playing With Him Personal Care (Dressing, Toileting, Bathing) Meal Preparation/Feeding Housecleaning/Laundry/Cooking Driving to Activities Experience: Previous experience in patient care or caregiving or teaching preferred.
Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral issues.
Skills: Enjoys Teaching Wanting to Learn ABA Therapy Reliable Hard Working Good Housecleaning and Organizational Skills Self-Starter Excellent communication and compassionate demeanor Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy Hours are Saturdays and Sundays 6:30 a.
