I made this fire pit as a fun project, it's a dodecahedron with cut outs to look like a globe.
Antarctica, at the bottom, is cut out to form a grate.
It's made of thick 3/16" steel, robust enough that it will survive being dropped out of a 3rd story window, or, more likely, generations of use.
Its classic wood burning design for comfy authentic fires during cookouts, camping or family gatherings.
If you look online for globe firepits you will find that they sell for thousands of dollars, and they are more than likely made by machines and with lower quality metal.
The globe is roughly 2 feet in diameter.
if you're okay with waiting a couple weeks I could potentially make you the same firepit but with a larger 3 foot diameter, for a slightly higher price(to cover material costs).
I think it would also be fun to make one that runs off propane, rather than wood, so if that interests you I can find a way to make that work if you reach out to me
