Bike Thief almost stole my ebike off Bike Rack (SLO)

Suspect driving a Toyota pickup truck with covered bed attempted to steal one of my ebikes off of my bike rack, on the back of our SUV parked at the side entrance of the Wayfarer SLO hotel on 2023-12-31 4:15 PM.
Suspect is a white male, wearing a cowboy style leather hat, black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, belt, glasses, facial hair in form of a beard.
Used a prybar as main tool.
It would have been an e-bicycle theft, but the thief gave up when too many people arrived.
I came out with my wife minutes later to go out.
We pulled out of parking space, and the bike fell off.
That is when we discovered that the would-be thief had removed our lock in attempt to steal it.
