I started my journey at the age of 18, working as a figure model.
While I was attending school, I broke into photo and runway.

I earned my degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center as a medical lab scientist, but I quickly realized that I really needed to be in a more "creative" environment.
I got tired of hearing "no" at casting calls, so I dreamed of being a "designer.
" Well, it is a little difficult to be in all the department stores when they keep going out of business.
I took jobs on the side, working as a seamstress in a full scale woman's atelier called African Designs, which is really where I honed in my skills on the industrial level.
I can run nearly any machine from basic domestics to industrial straight stitch, sergers, fifteen needle embroidery and coverstitch.
With my science background, I started formulating fragrances in 2020.
I started attending UMKC for a Masters of Science in Chemistry, but perhaps a Nobel prize is due for another lifetime.
After the past year of trying to make my business the success it really deserved, I ended up getting evicted and lost my Juki DDL8700 amongst the countless other items.
I have just slowly been building myself back up with doing odd jobs (framing and hanging pictures on the walls, making curtains on a domestic machine my mom purchased second hand.

I am thirty years old and I live with my parents at California Valley.
I got the idea to advertise as a "statement piece designer," because I got this beautiful old couch for free off of marketplace (actually, she paid me to remove it), and the owner recognized the value in the skills that I can offer.
