Midland Pacific Building Corporation is a production home building company located in Atascadero.
We have a number of projects throughout the Central Coast and build upwards to 100+ homes a year.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrator with a strong emphasis on bookkeeping to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing contractual agreements, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records related to contracts.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Responsibilities:
1.
Contract Management:
• Draft and review contracts to ensure they align with organizational policies and requirements.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking and managing contract lifecycle, including renewal and termination dates.
• Implement change management processes to address contract modifications or amendments.

Compliance Oversight:
• Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to address any deviations from contractual agreements.
3.
Bookkeeping:
• Manage financial aspects of contracts, including invoicing, payments, and tracking of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records associated with each contract.
4.
Communication and Coordination:
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties involved in contracts.
• Facilitate communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed of contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a Contract Administrator and/or Bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage dozens of contracts simultaneously.
• Proficient in using bookkeeping software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
• Certification in Contract Management or Bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with industry-specific contract terms and conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
00 - $100,000.
