Seeking a business and intellectual property litigator that is local to Paso Robles, CA and wants to grow with the law firm.
Seeking someone to work in the law office in Paso Robles with the law firm's founder, to manage the firm's litigation case load.
The position is listed as part-time to start, but it is anticipated that the position will soon be full time.
The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term position with the firm and want to grow with the firm as the firm grows.
The firm will offer the right candidate the opportunity for a profit share/bonus structure, so that as the firm is successful and profitable, the candidate will make more money.
*The firm is a California based business and intellectual property law firm that offers a full-service, transactional and litigation, business and legal affairs department to artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

*The pay on this position is hourly to start and potential to go full time on salary with a profit share bonus structure.
The candidate can expect to have 20 hours per week to start.
Eventually, if you are a good fit, you can expect to go on salary, and receive annual bonuses based on the firm's profits.

Looking for an experienced and talented attorney to join the firm .
The ideal candidate for this position has a background in both business/entrepreneurship and the law including primarily business contracts, business torts and intellectual property, with litigation and transactional experience in California.
Must have business litigation experience.
The firm has quite a few active business litigation cases all over the state of California.
The ideal candidate will be able to dive into those cases, manage the case load, make the remote appearances in the courts, and handle the brief, pleadings, and motions that need to be filed.
Must have superb drafting skills; briefs, pleadings and motions.
Ideal candidate would also have superb contract drafting skills for business and intellectual property matters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Manage litigation case log
* Legal drafting briefs, pleadings, and motions.
* Contract drafting for artists and entrepreneurs in a wide array of industries.
* Conduct legal research; we use Lexis.
* Appear in court and arbitration/mediation proceedings.
* Experience filing trademarks at the USPTO and CA Secretary of State a plus
* Licensed with USPTO to file patent applications a plus
* Experience filing Copyright.
