Description In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Director of UCLA Hematology/Oncology Community Clinics.
You will oversee the business and patient care support functions of the Central Coast Hematology/Oncology Community Clinics.
You will be responsible for administrative and budgetary analysis, coordination of clinical services and personnel, policy and procedure recommendations including appropriate procedures for the managed care environment in the clinic, and physical space management.
In addition, you will provide administrative support to the Director of the Community Practices.
You will also act as back up to the Clinical Director assisting with troubleshooting and resolving clinic operational issues for Central Coast Hem/Onc Community clinics.
Salary range: $95,900.
00/year - $222,100.
00/year Qualifications Required: * Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and formulate conclusions.
* Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
* Skill in setting priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
* Accounting skills to plan, prepare and analyze complete revenue and expense budgets.
* Demonstrated ability to creatively integrate competing demands of a multidisciplinary setting into a productive working environment.
* Skill in verbal communications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal settings.
* Demonstrated ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.
* Working knowledge of research-oriented patient care systems.
* Working knowledge of University policies and procedures to appropriately manage accounting systems, cashiering, risk management and personnel.
* Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient’s services and staff.
* Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with faculty, residents, fellows, medical students and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds.
* Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient services and nursing staffing in an environment with a high volume of patient visits.
* Ability to provide own transportation to travel to the assigned community clinics on a routine basis.
* Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, EPIC EMR system and HBS payroll system.
