The PositionThe City of Paso Robles is recruiting for the next Information Technology (IT) Manager.
The IT Manager, classified as a Professional Manager III, is an imperative position that leads and promotes the technological growth, innovation, and cyber security of the entire city organization.
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the operations of City's IT activities, while delivering excellent customer service, building partnerships, and administering comprehensive IT initiatives to accomplish City goals and technological needs.
The ideal candidate will play an integral part in implementing the City's IT strategic plan, and be knowledgeable in project management, budgeting, procurement, IT governance and policy implementation, and information system security.
The Community El Paso de Robles, or "The Pass of the Oaks," is located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, in San Luis Obispo County.

The voters also elect one City Treasurer at-large.
All six elected positions are non-partisan.
The City Manager, appointed by the City Council, is the Chief Executive Officer, and is empowered to appoint all non-elected employees, except for the City Attorney.
The City has a total annual budget of $173 million for fiscal year 2023/2024, and a total of 295.
