### Duties:
- Administer anesthesia to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Provide acute pain management services to patients in post-operative settings
- Perform pre-operative assessments and obtain informed consent from patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology
### Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of CA
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc.
)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
- Experience in providing patient care in various surgical specialties
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system
