1971 Norton Commando - $8,600 (San Luis Obispo)

This is a rare find, a 1971 Norton Commando that is very original.
This has not been restored which is rare.
The gas tank and side covers, which are steel, have been painted original Norton yellow.
The seat has been replaced with a NOS.
It also has electronic ignition.
This is a numbers matching Norton.
It starts easily and runs amazingly.
Strong running bike and it handles beautifully! In my 40+ years of owning, building and restoring Nortons, this is the best running and most unmolested bike I’ve ever owned.
The clutch is new and is very smooth and shifts in all gears easily.
Always been garaged.
It has current registration and a clean title.
This Norton is a true survivor and it gets heads turning.
8,100 original miles!! I don’t need to sell it, but don’t ride anymore and would like it to go to a good home.
