For the people in the know about Peavey Bandits, this is a silver stripe Bandit from 1995-1999, probably '98.
Fully torn down, surfaces cleaned, pots and switches cleaned, all contacts DeOxit'ed.
Original 12" Sheffield speaker, no tears, good cone and surrounds.
The reverb tank is super clean.
Certain pots (mid pots for whatever reason) remain the littlest but scratchy but otherwise it works like new.
If you don't know, the Bandit is a 100W solid state guitar amp with a spring reverb tank and some very unique circuitry they called TransTube in the 90s.
If you read the schematic, you'd see the tone sections are cloned from Fender, so the clean channel is really nice and the spring reverb is super shimmery.
The gain channel is why these amps are very collectible, you can get smooth overdrive or crazy metal tones and the tube dynamics circuit in the power amp gives you some of the compression characteristic of high gain tube amps.
Really great stuff.
It's also stupid loud, if you are looking to upgrade from a small practice amp, and surprisingly not all that heavy for a Peavey.
Looking for $200 cash only or best offer, but not taking any lowballs.
The going rate on these amps is $150 ~ $300 depending on condition and $200 is fair all things considered.
Come get it before I decide to keep it -- the reverb is unbelievable and I'm very tempted to not sell it at all.
