We recently adopted a wonderfully sweet, 70 lb mastiff mix but are hoping we might be able to find a him a home that would be more suitable for his great, big personality.
George is approximately 3 years old, is fully vaccinated and recently neutered.
He is not expected to get any bigger than he already is.
The problem we have, is that George has a prey drive for our cat and chickens.
He does get along very well with our other dog and is a sweetheart with those of the human persuasion! He has no food aggression and, in fact, no aggression at all; he only wants to be with people and has shown us he is very playful and ready to please.
We think he may be able to scramble over our 6 foot fence, and would therefore put the chickens and our cat at risk.
We are so, so sad to have to find another home for George, but we feel we need to be fair to the other furry / feathered family members.
A well-secured home without cats or chickens is the perfect fit for George, and he is guaranteed to add lots of fun and love to your family!
A small rehoming fee would be only to make sure he goes to a wonderful home.
