Housing needed (San Luis Obispo)

Hello friends, I am a senior who has been a part of this community since May 30th, 1986 and am struggling to find an affordable rental.
I am working with a housing navigator who has helped me sign up for affordable housing programs and will pay my first month's rent and deposit, but the waitlist are long and competitive.
I can afford 450-500 dollars in rent.
I am looking for any options that are out there, like renting a room.
I have been clean and sober for 32 years, I am on a fixed retirement income and have struggled to find housing I can afford.
I have one dog, who is a sweetheart and well-trained.
I love animals of all kinds, especially horses.
I would love to stay in a trailer on a ranch and would be happy to help with the horses for free.
I do native crafts like dreamcatchers, leatherwork, and beadwork.
I’m friendly and kind.
I am just looking for a quiet place to rest so I can enjoy our beautiful community.
