Looking for room to rent or studio (Los osos to atascadero,five cities or nipomo.)

Hi, my name is Debbie and I am 59 years old trying to find affordable housing here on the central coast.
I currently live and work full time in Los osos.
Would be nice to find a room to rent or small affordable studio.
Been looking since last October and haven't had too much luck.
Have lived on the central coast since March 88.
Have had great roomates over the years and some studios and apartments but am finding it harder to afford on one income.
I have great references and have been employed long term and full time.
I pay my share for rent, utilities and help with groceries to share.
I am a grounded person that is not into partying or drugs and enjoy movies, music and relaxing at home and enjoy walking and hiking and befriended stray cats.
I have a lot of good roomate experience and have done house sitting and helped care for roomates past shepards and have helped with light yard work.
Have experience with childcare and completed AA in early childhood education and family studies at cuesta.
Looking to move in April or May.
