We have a room for rent in a rural set home just 5 miles from both downtown SLO and Pismo Beach in a beautiful, quiet spot.
The landlord lives next door and is very available for repairs and concerns.
The room is adjacent to your own bathroom, and is the garage that has been converted, so the garage door is your private entrance if you wish to use it.
The room should be available 5/1/2024
The room is not furnished but the rest of the house is, and very cozily.
The fully fenced yard in the front of the house has a hot tub and hammock.
The yard is large and currently mostly untended (there are no green thumbs in the house, although the landlord does the necessary abatement and path clearing), so if gardening and yard work tickle your pickle, check in with landlord and then feel free.
$1250/month, plus $1333 deposit.
Water included.
Electricity, propane and internet currently split equally between the 3 occupants.
We both have access to dumpsters at work, so do not have trash service.
If you would like to bring trash service in, feel free to take point and we are happy to split it three ways.
As this is a somewhat rural location, the internet isn't the best for a WFH situation, just a heads up in advance.
We are looking for someone kind, considerate, emotionally intelligent and a clear communicator, who collaborates to keep the common spaces clean.
No cigarette smoking in/around the property, no weed smoking indoors.
We are a household of introverted homebodies: NO parties.
We work full time, and I love hiking, reading, knitting, camping, baking and social justice.
Other housemate enjoys quiet evenings in, time out with friends, and hanging out with her ESA pet.
