DESIGNATION : Key Account Manager (Australia)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and execute business strategies to gain market share and sell REC solutions to approved channel partners.
Business development activities to engage solar retailers into the REC partner program.
Training and development of approved solar retailers to increase REC share of sales mix.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the relevant business partners to ensure strategic advantage over the competition.
Provide comprehensive reporting and feedback to management on market trends, competitor information, etc for decision-making.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to the assigned partners and / or customers.
Review agreements for partners and customers and seek legal advice where necessary.
Provide management in a timely manner with accurate opportunity and territory forecast based on prospect pipeline and market analysis.
Manage the sales cycle tightly in accordance with RECs sales principals.
Respond promptly to customer needs and update management on customer service issues to improve service.
Work closely with Sales Engineering Support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as a channel of communication between the REC approved solar retailer and approved distributors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
Min.
5 years experience in Sales & Marketing with a proven track record in sales.
Prior working experience in international trading or solar companies will be advantageous.
Strong channel management experience in a technological related field.
Knowledge regarding channel markets and technology or energy related products.
Familiar with financial terms.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work effectively in multi-functional task forces.
Regular local travel required.
Occasional overseas travel should be expected and appreciated.
