This is an in-office / hybrid position where you will work with the creative and digital marketing team located right in the heart of Downtown SLO.
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Coordination, scheduling, delivery, and optimization of content for organic socials.
* A comprehensive understanding of music gear and/or instruments.
* Manage all online customer sentiment, customer service, audience engagement, and direct customer engagement.
* Heavy involvement in engaging with our current roster of 3,000+ artists and pursuing collaboration opportunities with new artists and influencers in the music/guitar space.
* Experience creating short-form social media video content and will be responsible for filming, ideating, and creating content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
* Comprehensive understanding of how to actively execute social media, content creation, copywriting, influencer marketing, and inter-team communication.
*PRIMARY DUTIES*
* Day-to-day coordinating of social media posts and maintaining/optimizing best practices on all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X), and YouTube).
* Prepare, schedule, and post organic social content based on brand strategies and campaign calendars.
* Work with the team to ideate, film, and create short-form social media video content.
* Assisting with copywriting and creating posts based on campaign strategy, ensuring that copy is both effective and on-brand.
* Execute social media community engagement initiatives, including assisting with customer service, and identifying any issues that require elevation.
* Engage with Ernie Ball’s family of artists and brand influencers and ensure that any relevant content is shared in a timely manner.
* Present any user generated content opportunities from artists, influencers, retailers, and the overall community to the team.
* Organize, document, and share product campaign launch coverage from relevant media outlets.
* Assist in building a successful customer journey through social media.
* Keep up-to-date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly.
* Opportunities for social media coverage at Ernie Ball artist shows/music festivals, video shoots, and event activations.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Degree in Marketing or other related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Marketing Coordination, or related field.
* A background and knowledge with music gear and/or instruments is required.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite with basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
* Experience with Social Media Marketing for brands preferably with at least 50K followers or more – music or guitar industry brands are a plus!
* Experience with project management software such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Falcon, Brandwatch, or other is preferred.
