We are seeking an organized individual(s) with *strong design* and project management skills for the development and preparation of custom residential design and construction documents.
Ideal applicant would demonstrate strong design skills, have a good understanding of the construction process and detailing.
Knowledge of code a plus.
Duties include involvement in all phases of a project, schematic design, design development, 3D modeling, construction documents, and construction administration.
Comfortable collaborating with internal staff and coordinating with consultants to produce construction documents sufficient for permit and construction.
*Qualifications:*
• Bachelor's of Architecture degree from an accredited school (Master's in Architecture OK)
• Licensed architect and/or 7-10 years’ experience project managing & designing (Min.
2 years of consecutive years of single family residential work experience)
• Moderate or better experience level with BIM programs (Revit OK, Archicad Preferred)
• Strong Communication Skills (written, verbal, graphic)
• Experience interacting with clients and consultants in a professional manner
• Strong comfort level with Adobe Suite and Microsoft platform
*Primary Responsibilities:*
• Design, develop, and project manage multiple large projects simultaneously
• Lead project team (designers) in developing building layout and massing
• Attend design review meetings with clients on project-by-project basis
• Conduct periodic quality control review of design and construction document drawings
• Perform project due-diligence and zoning research to process and obtain planning approvals
• Attend public hearings on projects as needed
• Coordination with consultants and construction team throughout duration of project
• Process and obtain building permit package with local jurisdictions
• Tracking / Maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Work efficiently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Organized coordination with consultants to meet deadlines / good time management
- Be a considerate team player
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft
- 3D rendering skills a plus (Twinmotion, Lumion, etc.
)
Knowledge of ArchiCAD is preferred, however if applicant has similar 3D BIM modeling program experience and is willing to learn a new program, please submit resume with work sample.
