Maintenance Technician (San Luis Obispo)

Edna's Bakery is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to the team.
Edna's Bakery is a wholesale bakery, operating 24 hours a day.
Ideal candidate will be maintaining the entire facility, including the machinery within the confines of the building.
Job requirements / functions include: • Demonstrate basic equipment, motor vehicle, and electrical repair skills • Demonstrate basic construction ability and facilities maintenance skills • Review Maintenance Log Daily and appropriately prioritize repair requirements • Follow established maintenance PM schedule, and routines • Ability to troubleshoot & diagnose basic mechanical, electrical and automotive problems • Demonstrate ability to read schematics, with strong electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair skills • Follow-up after repair to ensure solution worked and functionality is restored • Communicate to ensure maintenance work supports department objectives & goals • Assist Operations Manager in deployment and coordination of maintenance department projects • Modify and/or fabricate basic replacement parts • Communicate with others to effectively maintain or repair tools that help them do their job • Be available for on-call emergencies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Position is full-time, day shift.
