HOGUE Tool and Machine has an immediate opening for a full-time, *Double Disk Grinder Operator* in our Paso Robles facility for our 4X10 day shift which operates 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, 4 days per week for 10 hours per day.
This is a modified workweek schedule that we have adopted in order to attain optimal weekly production throughout.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
As a Double Disk *Grinder Operator, *you will be trained and *must *keep constant vigilance on machine maintenance and waste stream management (i.
e.
coolant and other waste-stream by-products) so that your machine and parts run smoothly with minimal down time.
You will be responsible for meeting daily production goals and communicating any work stoppages to a designated supervisor or manager.
You will also be trained and responsible for in process monitoring of part quality to include verification of all required part dimensions using trade specific measuring tools (i.
e.
Micrometer, Digital Caliper, Test Dial Indicator, Profilometer, etc.
).
The position calls for a mechanically inclined individual who wants to learn and expand their skill-sets.

The qualified candidate for *Double Disk Grinder Operator* should have:
* Interest in machining and manufacturing.
* Mechanically inclined.
* Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
* Willingness to be cross trained with tasks pertaining to other types of manufacturing as needed.
