As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the overall design, build, and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants.
*Responsibilities*
Preconstruction
* Prepare and manage estimates, bids, contracts, subcontracts, and vendors
* Develop project plans, specifications, and other contract documents as part of a project team
* Specify equipment for projects, including: pumps, piping, blowers, and compressed air systems
* Draft engineering drawings and plant layout
Procurement
* Partner with manufacturers to specify components, ensuring reliability and cost effectiveness
* Analyze material options and exercise judgment in the selection process
* Ensure warehouse inventory is stocked and well organized
Construction
* Create project schedules and track progress, updating as needed
* Review proposed three week lookahead, and finalize schedule for field staff
* Oversee project safety, host meetings, and track training and certifications, etc.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the entire project team
* Supervise Project Engineers and interns, assisting in their development
* Create and maintain O&M manuals, as-builts
*Qualifications*
* A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline, with a master’s degree preferred
* 5+ years of Project Management experience in a commercial or industrial industry, preferably with water and wastewater treatment processes
* Professional Engineer (P.
E.
) license preferred, but not required
* Professional knowledge and experience in scheduling and estimating
* Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
* Focused, with an ability to effectively prioritize
* Detail oriented, with an emphasis on accuracy
* Solutions oriented, with tenacious problem solving skills
* Reliable in upholding budgets and schedules
* Technically adept in software programs, such as BlueBeam, Revit, Solidworks, and AutoCAD

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.
