Poly Performance is an industry leader in the online distribution of performance off-road vehicle parts and accessories.
Synergy Manufacturing is an industry innovator and manufacturer of high-end automotive performance components.
Both companies reside in a shared 30,000 sq/ft facility located in San Luis Obispo, California.
*Position: Social Media Coordinator*
Reports to Marketing Manager
Works closely with Sales, Production, and the CEO
*Position: Full-Time or Part-Time *
Office Hours are Monday – Friday, 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm
*Position Description:*
Looking for Full Time or Part-Time Social Media Coordinator with excellent external and internal personable skills, detail oriented, highly organized, and strong work ethic required.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to attend wheeling events and wants to grow within the Company.
Full-Time is 40-30 hours per week & Part-Time will have flexible hours approx.
20-25 hours per week, hours may be negotiable within the office hours.
*Responsibilities:*
* Familiar with all current and relevant social media platforms.
* Manages day to day presence across the brand’s social media platforms.
* Ensures quick replies to customer message requests, and in-post comments with potential to turn into sales lead.
* Re-posts or otherwise engages from customer shout-outs and managing social media messages.
* Gathers contact information from social media to forward to appropriate person within the company i.
e.
warranty, marketing, sales, etc.
* Under direction of Marketing Manager, creates and manages ad-campaigns to improve reach and brand awareness.
* Shoots and formats product photos for use on website as well as content for social media.
* Designs and implements successful marketing campaigns.
* Organizes and executes promotional strategies for new products.
* Sets up and executes paid ad campaigns on social media platforms.
* Travels for events and represents brand.
*Desired Skills*
* Off-road enthusiast or automotive enthusiast *_highly_* desired.
* Must be able to use and understand all current and relevant social media platforms.
* Good communications skills.
* Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
* Experience with research methods including ability to track effectiveness of campaigns.
* Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns.
* Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google AdWords.
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and able to create contents.
* Able to travel to attend events and represent brand as periodically required.
* Some work outside normal working hours, when necessary, but not on a regular basis.
