*Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks:*
* Under direct supervision employee has the ability to demonstrate the following competencies at the more advanced basic level including all competencies in the subordinate levels.
* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Material identification, jobsite housekeeping, tool & equipment use and general labor.
* Digs trenches & excavations using hand tools and hand operated power equipment.
* Underground conduit installation as directed by verbal instructions or field sketches.
* Installs common devices, trim, boxes, fittings & wire as directed by verbal instructions or field sketches.
* Able to mount, secure & install electrical raceways, fixtures & systems as directed by verbal instructions or field sketches.
* Performs wire pulling procedures as directed by verbal instructions or field sketches.
* Performs basic branch & feeder wire terminations.
* Terminates panels and transformers under direct supervision with specific instructions.
* Installs prefab assemblies.
* Bends conduit (basic offsets, 90º bends & kicks) with hand benders.
* Bend conduit using various power benders under direct supervision.
* Basic conduit & box sizing per the NEC.
* Assists in operation of cable pullers and feeders.
* Performs all tasks in a timely manner and meets minimum production standards.
* Reads and interprets NEC Chap 1-3 proficiently.
* Abides by the company rules & policy & safety requirements and report all violations & incidents to immediate supervisor and safety manager.
* Acceptable attendance
* May be called upon to perform the duties of subordinate levels.
