Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Residential Painter who is skilled in interior and exterior painting techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for delivering flawless finishes, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
This role requires a motivated individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
* Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
* Ensure proper mixing and matching of paint colors to achieve desired results.
* Repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections in surfaces prior to painting.
* Protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces from paint splatter and damage during the painting process.
* Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment while working.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the painting project.
* Complete painting projects within established timeframes and budget constraints.
* Assist with other tasks as needed, such as minor carpentry repairs or surface preparation.
Qualifications: * Proven experience as a residential painter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
* Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brushwork, rolling, and spraying.
* Excellent color matching and mixing skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also collaborating with team members.
* Knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and materials.
* Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to painting.
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
* Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects as needed.
