Cold Canyon Processing Facility, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for an Operator / PM Helper at our operation in San Luis Obispo, CA .
The primary duties of this job is to operate forklift, excavator and wheel loader, and to service the heavy equipment + conveyor belts on the sort line.
The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday with some Saturday work, 6:30am-3pm.
Overtime is often required.
The pay range will be $22-25/hour, depending on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Operates forklift, wheel loader, excavator to move material in facility
Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services.
Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension and brake systems on equipment.
Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness
Ability to adhere to work schedule, take initiative, and follow through on challenges as they arise
