Your Role: Civil Engineering infrastructure design that primarily includes ADA curb ramp design, precise grading, minor roadway design and some drainage; Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses as they pertain to ADA curb ramp and roadway geometric solutions; Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates; Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects; Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines and utility infrastructure; Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner; Works with a team to create unified solutions and create seamless deliverable sets; Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering (or similar) Required; 0-3 years of experience; EIT Certificate is strongly preferred Background, project work experience and process knowledge of feature lines, precise grading, surfaces, and drainage using Civil3D is ideal Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills; Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports, along with others work product; Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D (formal training desired), word processing and spreadsheet management programs with working knowledge of applicable codes, especially as they pertain to ADA curb ramps; Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel Salary Ranges: CO: $67,000 - $76,000 CA: $68,000 - $80,000 About Tetra Tech Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
