Medical Assistant (FT) Temporary

*Associated Surgeons of San Luis Obispo has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant in our Pismo Beach/San Luis Office.
3 days in Pismo 2 days in SLO.

We are looking for a great candidate that is interested in joining our wonderful Medical Assistant crew! *Responsibilities:* * Assist Doctor and Chaperone as needed * Enter PFSH information * Prepare and maintain consent forms * Answer phone calls from patients * Greet patients and take vitals * Sterilize instruments after procedures * Prepare and clean rooms daily * Order medical supplies * Maintain orders tracking system * Coordinate Appointments * Confirm and verify insurance for procedures * Scan records, test results, referrals, etc.
into charts *Requirements:* * 2 years Clinical Medical Assisting required or MA certificate.
* Must be proficient in electronic medical record keeping * Must have knowledge of insurance plans and authorization processes * Excellent customer service skills * Organized * Dependable * Team Player * Positive Attitude * Strong computer skills will ability to pick-up and learn new systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.
