We are now seeking a full-time or part-time Pediatric Medical Social Worker/Child-Loss Bereavement Counselor to work with both pediatric and adult Hospice patients in the North Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County area (Santa Maria to SLO).
This individual will be working in our new Pediatric Hospice Program with a lot of autonomy and flexibility while also receiving meaningful direction and supervision from an LCSW.
Requirements:
* Master's Degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education of Social Work
* LCSW or Masters’ level Social Worker with an ASW number preferred
* Minimum of one year social work experience in a healthcare setting, pediatric setting, home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
* Understand the "hospice philosophy" and issues of death and dying
* Reliable vehicle to drive for work
* Current Driver's license
* Clean background & driving record
* Maintain auto insurance coverage
* CPR certified
