What we are looking for:
- Must have an affinity for numbers and details, be very comfortable with analyzing data in Excel, experience with POS system(s), and possess an inquisitive, problem-solving mind.
-Must be willing to take responsibility for store operations and follow store procedures.
- Must have 2 yrs management experience and comfortably be able to reprioritize store needs with changing circumstances as well as ease in redirecting/giving feedback to staff to support store operations.
- Be dependable, flexible and enjoy working with others.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Health food experience and knowledge a plus.
Job responsibilities include: following and upholding all inventory manager related written procedures, prioritizing shipment flow, delegating shipment check-in and shelving, analyzing and placing orders, maintaining item pricing, stocking shelves, managing breaks, answering customer questions, overseeing staff, as well as opening and closing store responsibilities.
Job responsibilities do NOT include: Choosing products/negotiating with vendors (this is not a Buyer position).
This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
